Following a massive weekend for Breaksof10 at Evolution in the UK its back to the grind. With the blue glow from my Mac, the smell of fresh coffee around HQ, and my ears still ringing from the festival I was definitely hungry for some more cultural content from the globe. My inbox did not disappoint with something we are definitely feeling for the Summer of 2009; The latest collaboration from WeSC (“We are the Superlative Conspiracy”).
The collaboration with none other than Tony Arcabascio sees some clean cut reinforced high quality denim with some traditional techniques and real subtle original touches. Tony who is definitely fulfilling his desire to “work on good sh** with good people” describes his intention of achieving a simple look stating “less is more, as long as its quality”. Some real thought has gone into these garments and quality is consistent throughout. Brass buttons and rivets, a custom leather patch label, and WeSC pocket work all preserved in a striking presentation box that cries out for purchase. However would we expect anything less from the Alife co-founder?
