Here at Breaksof10 we have always strived to deliver one hundred percent original content. Therefore we jumped at the opportunity to create a unique photo shoot with American clothing brand Penfield for their new Autumn Winter range. Penfield have been on my wish list since the birth of the breaks as they strive to develop outdoor fashion wear with function, practicality and durability at heart. With a US heritage going back over three decades the brand has traveled a long way since the days of down filled jackets for workers in Massachusetts. However Penfield has managed to retain its original charm as it’s evolved into the brand we see today.
We chose five items for the shoot at Newcastle’s Spillers Wharf and called in some of the regions finest to capture the everyday function of the garments. Then it was back to the studio to capture the finer details for which Penfield are known for. Newcastle Upon Tyne’s iconic industrial heritage and architectural splendor provided the perfect backdrop for the shoot.

“Mackinaw” Blue Thermore insulated lightweight water and windproof jacket. Accompanied by functional details such as the vertical front chest pocket, two exterior seam pockets with micro zips, elasticated cuffs and hem. Bold Penfield embroidery. Available in Cobalt (as shown above), Purple (as shown in intro picture), and Black.
“Large Deer” White short sleeve jersey t-shirt. 100% Cotton with Penfield hem and label branding. Impactful hand drawn large deer print. Available in White (as above) and Purple.
