New Balance is still one of the only British sports manufactures that actually produces its goods in the UK, with one of its factories being in Flimby in Cumbria. Now, many of you will remember the recent severe flooding of Cumbria and the North West of the UK, and the devastation it has caused. In order to help the region, 8 of New Balance’s staff are doing a sponsored 140 mile walk to raise money for the area. The shoe above is the 577, one of the shoes made in the Flimby factory, and one of the designs in New Balances’ heritage line, with this particular colourway going on sale in March. If you want to donate to the cause you can do so by clicking here, and check out the new 577 colours after the jump.
