Prefab77 head off to California today to get to work on a series of massive wall murals for the biggest surf contest in the world – The US Surf Open. Prefab have been in the Breaksof10 crosshairs since day one and it’s awesome to see them receive international props and critical acclaim. We have watched them travel to Kentucky, create a solo show for Lazarides, along with a number of massive outdoor pieces. Now we will be watching their every move stateside. I’m told the guys will be working on the pier pictures above (yeah that big) and their imagery has been joined by some of the sports heroes. I’m also told of Nike Hotels, customised clothing, and an unbelievable amount of people.
