Ok, so where to start on this post. I suppose at the beginning. I met Ali and Amy a few years ago as they were preparing for a solo show with none other than INSA. Hmmm what to do next? Two or so years later they planned a full-scale invasion of Poland accompanied by INSA and INKIE. Along the way these two heavyweights of the can left breadcrumbs for the general streetart blogger to admire and cherish. This is their story.
This road trip would eventually cover 2422km, thirty-five hours on your shiny new Gshock, and a shared total of 247 cans of Red Bull consumed. Needless to say it was one for the books.
Not only was the work produced by these two artists off the scale, the level in which the trip was documented was at an unprecedented standard. No camera phones or handheld Christmas presents to be seen.
From London, to Brussels, to Berlin, and finally to Warsaw where they would hang the Fools Gold show.
Massive props to the guys for pulling this off. The trip was accompanied by mixtapes, t-shirts, nods from Nike & Gshock and the use of Pigeon Productions. Truly a job well done.
Amy and Ali do this kind of stuff all the time. So keep one eye on their Gallery space here.
