Soap Box SS11 Jackets

If I'm being completely honest I wasn't sure what to expect when a package from UK brand Soap Box showed up on my doorstep, however once I opened it and delved in, any misgivings were swiftly removed. The quality of the cut & sew was amazing, the varsity jacket in particular was spot on in terms of fit, detail and construction. Soap Box, for those that don't know, was started in 2008, and as well as quality UK made cut & sew, they also make t shirts, limited edition artwork and graphic novels. The graphic novel influence is obvious from the moment you spot their logo, and the branding throughout is pretty unique. Let's take a closer look.

Light Armour Shirt Jacket
Handmade in the UK with heavyweight Italian cotton, corduroy and quilted lining. It also has red lining behind the cuffs and colour, and 'popper' buttons on the front.

Shades of blue Jacket 'Remix'
This is the newer version of their awesome 'Shades of blue' jacket, and it utilises new features like full grain leather elbow patches and pocket lining, and in addition to the original smiley logo they've added the 'SB' on the opposite side of the chest. The jacket is made with 100% Italian Melton wool and full grain leather.
