It’s incredible to think that we’ve now put out nineteen original and exclusive mixtapes. This however is not the time for self indulgence, and it is with great pleasure that I introduce the guys behind #19. Mista Men are becoming a bass force to be reckoned with and a stream of dance-floor destroying orignal tracks and a slew of highly praised remixes has seen the Doncaster trio garner support from the scene’s biggest names. If you haven’t heard of them already, then this is a great way to educate yourself, not only on their own sound, but on the UK bass scene as a whole.
Aside from all this I’m proud that a group from Yorkshire are making such an impact and doing so much with a sound previously thought to be centred around London. Listen, download and check out the mixtape on the expand, and look for more from Mista Men in the future, as they’re about to take over.
