You may have guessed it by the rampant twitter and Facebook activity, but we’re finally ready to announce the details for our Lacoste L!ve Selector Sessions party that we’re hosting in their L!ve store on Newburgh Street on Wednesday the 14th December from 6-9pm.
The concept of the selector sessions is simple. Lacoste L!ve invite a ‘selector’ to throw a party using their Newburgh Street store (just off Carnaby street) as a location, we choose whoever we want to grace the decks (and in this case, the mic too) and Kopparberg being the nice guys they are, chuck a load of free booze our way. Sound good? Yes, it does.
So who’s going to be selecting the tunes on the night then? Well first up it’s South London’s Last Japan, a blisteringly good production talent who’s released a smattering of awesome EPs this year, not to mention putting out arguably one of our best exclusive mixtapes.
ItsNate is the London rapper who’s been gaining alot of attention in recent months, and justifiably so. His mixtape NeverAskTakeEverything came out of nowhere and was an awesomely consistent album – that had anybody who ever doubted Nate pricking up their ears to take notice.
I don’t even know where to start with Motive. You know those DJs that are so good at their craft that they’ll dominate any dancefloor, not matter how big or small, and ace any situation they’re put in? Motive’s that dude.
