Chris, a.k.a Six Foot Sick, so aptly names as he’s six foot six, is the second half of DJ duo Mugshots, of which we featured Louis Louis a fortnight ago. Chris, when playing solo takes a much more techno direction to Louis, and thus the reason for their separate residencies at Club Pony and Krooked in Sheffield. I have always had my reservations about techno, but this mix was not what I expected at all, and Chris is successfully blown away all my misconceptions by delivering a solid mix that flows so effortlessly.
