Last weekend was the Glasgow leg of Red Bull Music Academy’s stay in the UK, and I was lucky enough to be invited along to experience it for myself. One thing I can say is that this project is probably one of the most credible things Red Bull have done in a while, and I know that every participant of the workshops and everyone who came and partied in the evenings took a lot away from the weekend. Also, there’s a lot to be said for the artists who took the time to come up, give demonstrations, answer questions and share their knowledge for the benefit of the wannabe and up and coming producers and DJs and enthusiast who made up the audience on both days.
