I’ve been asked by the nice guys at 55DSL to blog on a Tumblr they’ve set up for myself and a few others they’ve selected as their’favourite bloggers in the world’, which is funny because my favourite blogger in the world is Kev Lynn. Anyhow, I’m going to blogging all sorts of stuff on there, maybe even link it to my Blackberry and post photos of drunk girls at Zoo? I searched through some of the other blogs they have asked to take part in the collective and I stumbled across this class blog run by a girl in London who take photos of herself wearing wicked trainers. Not bad eh?

Some of you may know that I used to have a blog called ‘Ill Thought Actions’, which was, let’s face it, sporadically updated at best. I’ve decided to scrap that and incorporate that into the Breaks, so you can now find it by clicking on the ‘Tom ‘ link above.

Come this Friday, Reign is launching in Newcastle. It’s not your average club night, and is more of a music slash arts project, tying in loads of friends and influences, most of which are friends of the Breaks, like Fantome for example, who drew the flyer and brand identity of the night. Devon from Decibel will be the resident, and as you may have now guessed, Breaks Of 10 has a large part in the night. We will be throwing monthly parties there, with some special appearances from some of our friends, and a Vs. night against our blog brothers at the Daily Street.
Keep your eyes peeled to Reign’s site for the updates, and peep the flyer after the jump.

Breaksof10.com turns one year old on the 22nd April, and we’d like you all to come celebrate with us! We’re going to be celebrating in style on the Tokyo terrace, with ONE20 providing the music, and we’re going to hang some art curtosy of Electrik Sheep, most of which you will have already seen on the site. There’s also going to be cheap drinks all night, and lets face it, it’s the best terrace in town. But it doesn’t stop there, if you still want to party and you feel like you have you dancing shoes on the party is going to shift round the corner to ZOO at theCUT, where Placca Tom and Decibel will grace the decks. It’s going to be a night to remember, and what better way to celebrate than having a party in the best two venue’s in town with all our friends together? See you all there.
Check out the Facebook event for all the details!

Do you remember our interview with our bussy Gavin Strange about his fixed gear film BÖIKZMÖIND? Well Gavin isn’t one to sit around and do nothing, as well as being a full time and freelance graphic designer, amateur photographer, fixed gear enthusiast, and a whole host of other things he also has his own range of Vinyl toys with Crazy Label! The first series of droplets were so successful that Crazy Label commissioned a second series. The launch is at legendary Bristol skate store 50/50 and all the details are after the jump!
